  • 4 teaspoons of butter, softened at room temperature
  • 12 tortillas
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 34 dag of grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 3 teaspoons of sliced onion
  • Sour cream for serving

How to make a divine baked quesadilla:

Heat the oven to 220°C. Grease the baking pan with 2 teaspoons of butter. Arrange half of the tortillas neatly on the baking sheet, so that they completely cover the bottom, and pour the salsa over them. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top. Prepare the next layer again by placing the remaining tortillas on top of the cheese. Even this time, redistribute them well around the dish. Spread the remaining 2 teaspoons of butter on the surface.
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is completely melted. When the dish is baked, decorate it with coriander and onion. Serve warm and add sour cream if desired. Have a good run!
