Instructions for making a divinely good persimmon pie
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Mix egg, sugar, butter and grated lemon peel in a large bowl. Mix the flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder in another bowl and add the mixture to the first mixture. Knead all the ingredients into a dough, wrap the loaf in transparent food film and place the roll in the cold for half an hour.
Wash the persimmons, remove the stem and pits and cut them into small pieces. Put the pieces in a large bowl and sprinkle them with sugar, vanilla sugar, breadcrumbs and flour.
