Ingredients for chestnut gnocchi:
- 200 g of chestnuts
- 150 g of white flour
- 1 egg
- a teaspoon of salt
- 1 dl of water
The process of making chestnut gnocchi:
Boil the chestnuts in water (you can find the procedure here) and peel. Wait for them to cool slightly, then grind them with a chopper. Add the rest of the ingredients to make a soft dough. If necessary, add flour or a little more water. Shape the dough into a cylinder and cut it into gnocchi of any size, which you press lightly with a fork. Boil them in boiling water until they float to the surface. Serve with any sauce or sprinkle with parmesan. Have a good run!
