  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 80 g of Parmesan cheese
  • 3 egg whites
  • 100 g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • half a teaspoon of oregano
  • a little ground black pepper

Directions

  2. Cut the zucchini into sticks, similar to how you would cut fries for French fries.
  3. Mix the flour, cornstarch and spices in a bowl. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. In the third bowl, prepare a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. First roll the zucchini sticks in flour, then dip them in egg white and finally roll them in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and arrange the prepared sticks on it. Let them rest for about fifteen minutes.
  6. Then bake them in the oven for 18-20 minutes, turning them once during baking so that they bake evenly.
  7. When the zucchini sticks are crispy and golden brown, take them out of the oven.
  8. Serve them with a sauce of your choice.
