Recipe: simple and delicious chocolate cubes

You can impress your friends and relatives with chocolate cubes, for which you do not need many ingredients, and their preparation is completely easy. There will be no shortage of chocolate, so it is guaranteed that even the most demanding sweet tooth will enjoy them.

There's only one thing better than chocolate and that's it double chocolate. That's why the recipe for chocolate cubes an excellent choice for festive and pre-holiday days. Not only will you prepare them for quick and easy way, you probably already have most of the ingredients you'll need in the fridge. You can enjoy chocolate cubes at warm tea, coffee or cocoa, but you can also have them for dessert at Christmas dinner.

Ingredients

    Ingredients for sponge cake:
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of plain flour
  • half of baking powder
  • 100 g of edible chocolate
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 200 g of butter
  • Ingredients for the cream:
  • 500 ml of sweet cream
  • 200 g of edible chocolate

Directions

  1. Pour warm water into the container and start heating it on medium temperature. Put the chocolate and butter, which you cut into slices before, into another bowl. Place the bowl of chocolate and butter on top of the bowl of water and wait for the butter and chocolate to melt.
  2. Separate the egg whites and yolks, then mix the egg yolks and sugar in a deep bowl. Add the melted butter and chocolate to the mixture and stir. Add flour mixed with baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, make snow from the egg whites and carefully mix it into the chocolate mixture with a spatula.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 180 °C.
  5. While the biscuit is baking, prepare the cream. Finely chop the chocolate, and slowly heat the sweet cream over low heat until it boils. Then pour the heated sweet cream over the chocolate and mix well.
  6. Pierce the baked biscuit several times with a fork, then pour warm cream over it. Allow the custard to cool to room temperature, then cool the sponge in the refrigerator. Before serving, cut the dessert into cubes.
