It's time for our kitchen to smell like honey gingerbread, cinnamon stars, walnut croissants, coconut kisses and other festive goodies that remind us that it's time for happy gatherings and festive sweets.
We have prepared 5 simple recipes that are perfect for festive sweets in the circle of our loved ones.
1. Christmas stars
Ingridients:
- 400g of white flour
- baking powder
- cinnamon
- 200g of butter
- 180g of brown sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
Preparation: Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Knead the dough well, roll it out and use molds to shape it into beautiful stars. Bake at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the fragrant sugars get a nice color.
2. Honey gingerbread
Ingridients:
- 150g of margarine
- 2 eggs
- 500g of white flour
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa
- 150g of honey
- baking powder
- vanilla sugar
- cinnamon
- ginger
- cloves
Preparation: Mix margarine and sugar until foamy. Add eggs, flour, cocoa, honey, baking powder, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, ginger and ground cloves. Mix the ingredients into a smooth mass without lumps and pour it into a syringe. Line the baking sheet with baking paper and sprinkle balls of any size onto it. Bake for about 7 minutes at 180 degrees.
3. Coconut kisses
Ingridients:
- 120g of butter
- 80g of sugar
- vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 200g of white flour
- baking powder
- 50g of coconut flour
Preparation: Mix the eggs, sugar, butter and a spoonful of vanilla sugar until foamy. Add flour, a teaspoon of baking powder and coconut flour. Knead the ingredients thoroughly. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and place small balls on it. Bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
4. Walnut rolls
Ingridients:
- 500g of white flour
- 350g of butter
- 150g of ground walnuts
- 280g of white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- vanilla sugar
- icing sugar
Preparation:
Place flour, softened butter, ground walnuts, sugar, eggs, yolk and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Knead the ingredients well and let the smooth dough stand in the cold for about half an hour. Form rolls from the rested dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake delicious croissants at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle the cooled ones with powdered sugar.
5. Hazelnut cookies
Ingridients:
- 220g of butter
- 220g of powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- cinnamon
- 220g of ground hazelnuts
- 400g of white wheat flour
Preparation: Mix the mixed butter and powdered sugar until foamy and gradually add the egg yolks, a teaspoon of cinnamon and ground hazelnuts to the mixture. Add the flour towards the end. Knead the dough well and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour. Roll out the rested dough thinly and shape it into happy shaped cookies using any molds you like. Bake for about 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
