Bajadera is one of those desserts that few people have ever heard of, and one of those sweets that we love to give as gifts on special occasions. The holidays are approaching, and with homemade bajadera on the tray, your guests will always be happy to find some more space in their stomachs. She is so good that you simply cannot resist her. And you don't even need an oven to prepare it, because you can prepare it without baking, and you don't even need to know how to cook!
Homemade bajadera without baking is not only a great alternative to Kraševa Bajadera, but the perfect holiday dessert for three reasons. Firstly, we don't need an oven to prepare it, as it is created without baking, secondly, the preparation of this indulgent dessert is so very simple that it cannot happen to us and cook illiterates can make it, and thirdly, it is so delicious that it can be the only dessert you offer for the holidays, but no one will complain!
Recipe for homemade bajadera without baking
Ingredients for homemade bajadera without baking (for 12 people):
300 g of granulated sugar
9 tablespoons of water
220 g of butter (or margarine)
200 g ground almonds (or coconut/walnuts/hazelnuts)
200 g ground (butter) biscuits
50 g of grated (edible) chocolate
Ingredients for chocolate glaze:
1 dcl of sweet whipping cream
100 g of grated (edible) chocolate
1 teaspoon of butter
Preparation of homemade bajadera without baking
First, boil the sugar and water in a low bowl (heat slowly at a moderate temperature). Then stir in the butter and stir until it dissolves. Set the shrimp aside and sprinkle the ground biscuits into it. The mass is then divided in half. Add ground almonds to one half, and chocolate to the other to get a light and dark mass. Next, prepare a baking tray, first coat it with butter, then pour the dark mass into it and spread it evenly. Pour the light mass over it and spread it evenly.

Instead of putting the pan in the oven, put it in the refrigerator, and in the meantime prepare the chocolate glaze. Pour the sweet cream into a small container and heat it slowly, but make sure it does not boil! Add chocolate to it and stir over low heat until the chocolate is completely dissolved and a smooth mixture is obtained. Then remove the pan from the heat and add a teaspoon of butter and stir until it is completely melted and the glaze thickens a bit. Pour it evenly over the light mass and place the pan in the refrigerator overnight so that the bajadera cools down and hardens properly. Then just cut and serve. Have a good run!
