Recipe: Mini American Pancakes

There is hardly a person who does not like pancakes. And regardless of whether they are plain or American, we always look forward to them just the same. Try the recipe for a mini variant of American pancakes, also called "muesli pancakes", because we eat them in one bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs with sugar. Add milk, flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Beat until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled pan.
  3. Place the mixture on the heated pan with a spoon (you can also press it with the help of a confectioner's nozzle).
  4. Bake until it starts bubbling on top. Turn with a fork and continue to cook the underside for another minute.
  5. Remove from heat and place on a serving plate.
  6. You repeat until you use up all the dough. Transfer the mini pancakes to a bowl. Add your favorite fruit and serve with honey, chocolate topping or peanut butter, or enjoy as is.
