This is a slightly different pepper. The taste is fantastic, and the dish is light and easy to prepare.
Baked peppers with cheese
Ingredients
- six pieces of red roasted pepper
- 350 g of cheese (feta)
- two eggs
- two spoons of sour cream
- some milk
- two tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- salt to taste
- a couple of tablespoons of roasted seeds to taste (sesame, sunflower, flax...)
Directions
- Roast the peppers on a grill or griddle, cover to steam and cool, then peel and remove the seeds.
- For the filling, use any cheese you like, feta cheese is best.
- Turn on the oven to 200 C and prepare a suitable baking tray so that the paprika covers the bottom.
- Grease the baking pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs so that they are evenly distributed on the bottom and sides.
- Cut the peppers, add salt and put a spoonful of cheese filling in the middle of each one.
- For the topping, beat eggs with sour cream, add a little milk and just a little salt. Pour evenly over the peppers. Sprinkle with roasted seeds to taste.
- Bake until golden.
