Recipe: baked peppers with cheese

This is a slightly different pepper. The taste is fantastic, and the dish is light and easy to prepare.

Baked peppers with cheese

Ingredients

  • six pieces of red roasted pepper
  • 350 g of cheese (feta)
  • two eggs
  • two spoons of sour cream
  • some milk
  • two tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • salt to taste
  • a couple of tablespoons of roasted seeds to taste (sesame, sunflower, flax...)

Directions

  1. Roast the peppers on a grill or griddle, cover to steam and cool, then peel and remove the seeds.
  2. For the filling, use any cheese you like, feta cheese is best.
  3. Turn on the oven to 200 C and prepare a suitable baking tray so that the paprika covers the bottom.
  4. Grease the baking pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs so that they are evenly distributed on the bottom and sides.
  5. Cut the peppers, add salt and put a spoonful of cheese filling in the middle of each one.
  6. For the topping, beat eggs with sour cream, add a little milk and just a little salt. Pour evenly over the peppers. Sprinkle with roasted seeds to taste.
  7. Bake until golden.
