Are you ready for one of the most difficult climbs to Vršič? Of course you are. That's why you will participate in the Red Bull Goni Pony 2018 cycling challenge, where you will climb our highest road pass with a pony.
An old Slovenian proverb says: "The third is happy, but in the fourth, Rado and the team drive the devil to the top of Vršič!" After three record-breaking performances, Red Bull Goni Pony 2018 at the end of May, it returns to Vršeško road even bigger, more numerous and more spectacular as ever. Don't have a bike? Search your, your father's and your neighbor's garage! Don't you have a retro thing to do? Look through your mother's, grandmother's and mother-in-law's closet! The climb to Vršič is the "cycling Triglav". mandatory trophy vevery serious Slovenian cyclist. Measured from the Lek Hotel in Kranjska Gora, you have it in front of you 13.5 kilometers of ascent with an altitude of 801 meters at 1611 meters above sea level. It's a slope up to 10.8 %, 24 with cubes of paved serpentines. Last year, the finish line was crossed at the top of the pass more than 800 male and female competitors. Current record: 44 minutes and 30 seconds.
