Renault has published the first official data for the August 27 announcement of the new racing car, which will compete in the Renault world championship next year. The French gave the sportsman the name Renault RS 01 (after the sports division responsible for all sporty models of the Renault brand).
The Renault RS 01 will be presented to the public for the first time at the end of August at the Moscow Salon, but for now it is known that it will be built around carbon monocoque frame, and he will take care of the drive nissan engine from the family WE ARE NOT (their sports division) which will develop strength around 500 hp. He will take care of the power transfer sequential gearbox of the Sadev brand, and the dry weight of the vehicle should be around everything 1,100 kilograms.
The competition mentioned in the introduction, with the RS 01 in the main role, should start in April next year, when nine races for the Renault World Championship will take place in a few months.
