On the 10th anniversary of the festival, which is dedicated to the legendary Renault 4L car, the company presented the most modern version of the "katrca" with an electric drive.
Conceptual Renault e-Plein Air is a 'retro' masterpiece that was inspired by the now classic car Renault 4L Plein Air or "cats" – the form is from the past, but the changes are of course suitable for the times modern.
They installed a battery with capacity 6.1 kWh, which is otherwise found in the Renault Twizy electric two-seater – the interior of the colorful seat, dressed in blue leather and basket for a picnic, which is as ordered for carefree enjoyment on summer days.
e-Plein Air has maintained original dashboard, they only added to it modern screen, through which we can monitor condition filling batteries.
Renault e-Plein Air is the result of a collaboration between Renault Classic, Renault Design and Melun Rétro Passion – the latter are experts in the field of production spare parts for 'classic' cars produced between years 1950 and 1990, stamps Renault, Peugeot, Citroën and Alpine.
Will the concept ever see the light of day in the form of series production, alas not yet known.
