It is mainly famous for preparing fresh sea and freshwater specialties. Their house specialties are sea bream in the Tuscan style, salmon cutlet on leek rice, grilled monkfish cutlet, fish brodette with polenta, lobster with pasta and grilled octopus. In addition, they prepare dishes from the classic grill, from the bread oven and the bread oven, dishes with truffles, dishes from Slovenian cuisine and authentic home-made desserts. Even vegetarians will not go hungry, as the offer for them is very extensive. Among other things, they can try buckwheat porridge with porcini mushrooms, grilled vegetables or mushrooms, wide noodles with porcini mushrooms, Mediterranean vegetables or stuffed peppers with tofu. Among the homemade desserts, buckwheat pockets with honey and walnuts and cheese štrukli with caramel stand out. If we visit the restaurant in a larger group of people, we can put together the menus ourselves. If the excellent cuisine is not a good enough reason to visit the Sajovic restaurant, it is certainly the unspoilt nature. The ponds can also be observed during lunch from the summer-winter terrace, and in the warmer months we can sit in the green park. The possibilities for cycling, walking in nature or fishing in one of the three ponds are enormous here, so it is best to reserve a whole day for the trip.
