When we talk about excess in the automotive world, we always look at just a few key figures: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, possibly followed by horsepower and top speed. With all the listed data, Croatian Rimac surprises!
Rimac is a story about dreams that can become reality. And if you bring it to the Geneva Motor Show 2 Cellos and Rimac C_Two hypercar and you shock the professional public with empirical data, then you deserve applause.
So the Croatian Rimac built a very very fast car. But this is not an ordinary car, but a car driven by the very popular electricity. And the latter transmits an abnormal 1914 horsepower to the road, which enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a pinch 1.85 seconds. But that's not all... If we compare it with Tesla Roadster new generation, this data is for 0,05 seconds better.
But all these are just letters on paper, which should be taken with a certain reserve. Namely, Rimac has staged a certain performance many times in the past, but it did not always end with an award. Last year, during the recording of the show "The Grand Tour", Richard Hammond almost said goodbye to his life, as the car caught fire after the accident. But that was it Rimac Concept One.
Rimac also claims that the battery will be theirs Rimac C_Two with 120 kWh enabled a range of more than 400 kilometers, which is more than 200 kilometers more than current electric vehicles can do on average. But that's not all. Rimac has also included some "trendy" technologies, such as facial recognition technology that will unlock and start the car.
If speed isn't your thing, then we can put your mind at ease. Rhyme promises autonomy level 4 rides, as the sensor package includes as many as eight cameras, six radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. But of course, we find it hard to believe that a Croatian garage company can have what the big guys have. That's also why we'll believe it when we see the car whizzing around on its own.
The Croatians are aiming high... They should do it somewhere 150 Rimac C_Two hypercar vehicles, which is a really high number compared to the eight "copies" of the first generation. Otherwise, they don't even tell the final price at Rimac. But we believe that the number will be more than seven digits.
With Croats, we are used to promises that are often not kept. But according to what was seen at the car show, they set their goals so high that it would be difficult for them to fail to fulfill their promises, as this would certainly mean the collapse of the company Rhyme.
