Security and surveillance technology developer Ring, part of Amazon, has introduced a surveillance drone called Always Home Cam.
This one a small drone supposed to represent a new category indoor control devices. The drone is "parked" in a case that also serves as a power supply. When the alarm system detects an unknown person in the house, it flies towards the uninvited guest, records it and in real time download video to the cloud, which appears directly on the screen of the owner's smartphone, tablet or laptop, as you can see in this video.

Before installing the drone, the user can determine which "routes" the drone will follow to ensure privacy of use, or define a "working space" for it if it does not want it to fly where it is not wanted.
A drone cannot be controlled manually, as it is fully autonomous. Ring says its autonomous flight and obstacle avoidance systems allow it to move around the house or apartment safely.
Although this seems a bit bizarre to us, we believe that there will definitely be a market for the drone as well Always Home Cam. It is not yet known when we can expect it to go on sale and at what price.
We have an idea of a flying security drone extremely like it. Monitoring in an apartment or house is extremely easy, as it is not necessary to install a lot of cameras, and one drone is sufficient to cover several rooms.
