Although he wasn't a politician or part of the royal family, just like the deaths of John F. Kennedy or Princess Diana, everyone seems to remember where they were the day popular comedian Robin Williams died. He was a man you just had to love. And with the new documentary prepared by HBO, you will honestly cry.
Robin Williams was great comedian, from which there is a kind of universal warmth. And while he was mostly known for his comedic roles, it was the dramatic roles that really got us. Awakenings (1990), Good Will Hunting (1997), The King's Fisherman (1991), Dead Poets Society (1989) - all of these, on paper, are serious roles breathed humor and humanity. We all remember Daddy in the Wings (1993), a comedy that made us laugh with its weirdness and silly voices, but at the same time was quite a heartbreaking look at divorce. And while his manic energy on screen or stage seemed too much for many, the actor's talent and charisma cannot be denied.
Today, 4 years after his death, HBO presents a feature-length documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind (2018), consisting of hundreds of interviews with Williams, home videos and new interviews with his friends and family.
