Roborock has unveiled its latest robot vacuum cleaner, the Roborock Saros Z70, equipped with an innovative OmniGrip robotic arm that can pick up small objects from the floor and remove them from the cleaning path. This technological advancement promises to clean your home even more autonomously and efficiently.

Imagine a world where you no longer have to pick up scattered socks, toys or tissues from the floor before turning on your robot vacuum cleaner. Thanks to Roborock's latest achievement, the Saros Z70, this world is now a reality. This smart assistant not only vacuums and mops, but also takes care of putting away smaller items with its robotic arm.

Roborock unveiled its flagship robot vacuum, the Saros Z70, at the recent CES 2025. It is revolutionizing the world of home cleaning. Its main attraction is the five-axis OmniGrip foldable robotic arm, which can pick up objects weighing up to 300 grams, such as socks, tissues or small toys, and remove them from the cleaning path.

The OmniGrip arm is equipped with a camera, LED light, and sensors that allow it to recognize and pick up objects. Although it is currently a bit slower and limited in its capabilities, its performance is expected to improve with software updates.

In addition to the innovative arm, the Roborock Saros Z70 boasts an advanced StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 navigation system and VertiBeam obstacle avoidance technology, which allows for precise navigation and object recognition in space. With an impressive suction power of 22,000 Pa and an advanced wet cleaning system, it ensures thorough cleaning of various surfaces.

Roborock has set a new standard in the robot vacuum cleaner industry with the Roborock Saros Z70, combining the functionalities of vacuuming, mopping and small items. Although the price has not yet been disclosed, the device is expected to be available in the first half of 2025.

The Roborock Saros Z70 represents an important step towards a fully autonomous household, where robots don't just clean, but actually understand your home and its needs. While most people still can't imagine a robot vacuum cleaner with "human reflexes" picking up a stray sock and putting it aside, Roborock is betting on a future where household robots will become our everyday helpers and no longer just toys for tech enthusiasts.

Of course, technological sophistication comes at a price – the question we’re all eagerly awaiting is how much the Saros Z70 will lighten our wallets. Given previous top-of-the-line models, it’s clear that this is a premium device. But if you’ve ever picked up those famous LEGO bricks with your bare feet while vacuuming, it’s clear: the price for peace of mind and less work can be completely justified.

Until then, the key question remains – how much “mess” can your kids make before the Roborock Saros Z70 gives up and asks for help? Will robot butlers in the future also be able to fold laundry? Who knows, but one thing is clear: the future of cleaning has never been so tense and futuristically appealing.
