The founding member of the legendary rock band Pink Floyd, singer and bassist Roger Waters, is returning to European concert stages. After twenty-five years of hiatus, this July he released his fourth solo album, called Is This the Life We Really Want?. The closest stop to us with the Us + Them tour will be in Zagreb, on May 6 next year.
Roger Waters, who was born in September 1943, rose to fame as a founding member of the cult band Pink Floyd. When Syd Barret left the group in 1968, Waters became hers main lyricist and conceptual director. He was the mastermind behind the most important and influential psychedelic albums such as The Wall, Animals and The Final Cut. He last performed with the group as part of a concert Live 8 in London in 2005.
After twenty-five years of hiatus, he released his fourth solo album this year Is This the Life We Really Want? He works on it with a bunch of other musicians from different bands. It is another conceptual project that touches the present day political scenes. In addition to the new album, he will also be rescheduling the tour Pink Floyd's greatest hits (from the albums The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here).
His live performances are known as an extraordinary sensory experience with superb, state-of-the-art audio-visual production and wonderful sound.
