Roadster, originally coined to describe a horse specially chosen for fast journeys between two places, is now synonymous with two-seater convertibles that offer unparalleled freedom and an exquisite driving experience. Over the years, roadsters have come in all shapes and sizes, from compact and easy-to-drive to large and luxurious. Now, Rolls-Royce has introduced another beautiful addition that looks set to go down in the annals of history as one of the Greats.
Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet returns to tradition as it is inspired by the Brewster cars of the 1920s. Brewster produced exclusive chassis (including for electric cars at the end of the 19th century) and after the First World War produced some of the most beautiful designs for Rolls-Royce.
In true roadster style, the Silver Bullet sacrificed the rear seats and replaced them with Aero Cowling made of titanium coated with silver paint with a metallic sheen. The Aero Cowling is an aerodynamic part of the car consisting of two covers that extend to the headrests of the front seats, each of which is equipped with a lock. It's under the hood of the Silver Bullet 6.6 liter turbo V12, which produces 563 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds. Inside the new Rolls-Royce you will find something carbon additives and brown quilted leather, which in combination with the silver exterior creates a truly handsome image.
Rolls-Royce plans to organize a whole series of experiences for the owners of this prestigious beauty, and if you might be planning to become the owner of this "silver bullet" yourself, you will have to hurry - production will be limited to only 50 copies. The price is not yet known, but the fact that the "regular" Dawn model requires a deduction may help you around 315 thousand euros, which means that the roadster can hit your wallet a little harder.
