Rolls-Royce is celebrating the 101st anniversary of the endurance record set by its founders. In 1907, Charles Rolls, Claude Johnson and Sir Henry Royce got behind the wheel of the Silver Ghost and embarked on a then unimaginable and still legendary endurance ride without stopping, 23,127 kilometers long.
To celebrate this special anniversary, there will be a British luxury brand Rolls-Royce did 35 copies of the Silver Ghost Collection, which will be based on the current Rolls-Royce Ghost. The cars will be manufactured in Goodwood, the hometown of Rolls-Royce. All 35 cars will be dressed in silver color Cassiopeia Silver, in which the Silver Ghost was also colored a hundred years ago. Rolls-Royce paint shop masters need just that 8 hours for paint application, and the color itself contains particles of 100% pure silver.
Another tribute to the classic Silver Ghost can be found on the striking front grille, which is finished in glossy black. The central parts of the rims are just like that, where we see Cassiopeia on a silver background engraved record “Silver Ghost Since 1907” or Silver Ghost from 1907. The already mentioned front mask once again offers shelter to the winged lady Spirit of Ecstasy, under which we find the inscription "AX201", which refers to the registration number of the original Silver Ghost.

Inside the cabin, you will find Forest Green upholstery, which is combined with silver leather. Also special is the central console, which has a special place for sunglasses and other everyday necessities. In addition, it proudly displays the inscription "Silver Ghost Collection - One of Thirty-Five", which further emphasizes the exclusivity of the Silver Ghost series. Despite the classic design features, the Silver Ghost is exclusive full of modern technology. I have available three pairs Kleer Wi-Fi headphones, enhanced USB- and HDMI connectivity and 4G LTE support. Silvr Ghost combined modern technology and classics that have successfully stood the test of time.
