While the sea is not yet warm enough for swimming, on April 18 in Piran Bay, we can have fun at the Starboard S-adventure challenge, a spring rowing event at sea. Paddlers, dust off our boards and get our oars in the water!
On Saturday, April 18, the sea route between Portorož, Piran and Sečoveljski salt flats will definitely be crowded, as we will Starboard S-adventure challenge rode the waves and tried rowing. It is the first of ten planned events, or a true spring rowing event at sea, which this year will for the first time be divided into a competitive, or duck, and a recreational, adventure, part.
At 11 o'clock, the first oars in the race for Slovenian SUP Cup, and right after, the young and up-and-coming will slide down the water kayakers and competed for the title junior champion. This will be followed by a "junior" rowing battle in SUP and recreational rowing in the kayak and SUP categories in the length of four, eight or 16 kilometers.
For one day, the heart of Portorož will become the center of rowing and crazy activities on the water, which will inevitably accompany us all summer long. On the promenade, where it will be ensured that even the youngest will have fun to their heart's content, we will follow and cheer on our rowing favorites from the big stand and try our hand at many activities on water or on land.
