Daimler will bring the renewed M class to the showroom in the "Big Apple", which has been named GLE in accordance with the new model nomenclature. Most of the design changes are on the nose and inside, which is more reminiscent of the C and S classes, the new hybrid version of the engines, which will be able to travel 30 km on electricity alone, and on average will emit only 78 grams of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Now he hears the name Mercedes-Benz GLE.
When one of the members "German Holy Trinity" introduces a new model, then things start to move quickly for the other two competitors as well. This is the case after last year's presentation of the new one BMW X5, Audi also recently announced a brand new one Q7, at Daimler, they rushed in light of this and renovated also his trump card current class M. In accordance with the new nomenclature, a new name was also given to the medium-sized SUV at Mercedes, otherwise it now sounds like the name Mercedes-Benz GLE.
As for the dimensions and design mission, the Mercedes-Benz GLE did not depart (excessively) from the current M-Class, most changes are, as expected, concentrated on the front part of the vehicle. Namely, around the lights, the engine mask and the bumper below it, and at the rear, the lights, bumper and exhaust pipes, which are part of the latter, have also been changed.

The changes are also inside, and otherwise they are somehow in style or in step with the new generations of C and S classes, which is known for redesigned center console, especially on overtime and on the part reserved for central screen, which according to the new pauses also"command infotainment” system. It is also worth mentioning 9G-Tronic shiftable automatic and the collision prevention assist plus, sitronic plus, magic vision control and agility control systems, and we could go on and on.
Pluses are also on the side of the range of engines, where the story begins with the version GLE250D, under which label it hides four-cylinder diesel with 150 kW or 204 hp, it is higher GLE300D with V6 diesel in the nose and 190 kW (258 hp), found on the gasoline side GLE400 with twin turbo V6 petrol engine with 245 kW (333 HP) and GLE 500 with twin turbo V8 aggregates and 320 kW (435 hp). The top of the offer will be two versions GLE 63 AMG in two versions, with 410 kW and 700 Nm of torque and 430 kW and 760 Nm of torque. The former will accelerate to hundreds in just 4.3 seconds, the latter will be a tenth faster. The final speed is, as usual, limited to 250 km/h, if that is not enough, you can also opt for AMG drivers package, which, among other things, is the highest the speed rises to 280 km/h. The dot on the i, or rather on the e, represents the version GLE 500e 4 nuts, which is powered by the 245 kW gasoline engine from the GLE400 version, which will also be assisted by 79 kW electric motor. The latter will be able to 30 km also transport merely and only on electricity, the average consumption is 3.3 liters or 78 grams of CO2 emissions.
The Mercedes-Benz GLE will premiere at the upcoming New York auto show, when its prices and market arrival date will be announced.
