Samsung unveiled its most premium set of wireless earbuds to date - the Galaxy Buds Pro - at yesterday's launch event. They feature a similar design to the Galaxy Buds Plus, but are aesthetically inspired by the Galaxy Buds Live. The Buds Pro aren't bean-shaped, but have the same metallic-look style and similar charging case.
Samsung says that thanks to the 11mm woofer and 6.5mm tweeter, the headset provides the best sound experience ever. Active noise cancellation has also been improved, as these earbuds now seal completely against the ear. Samsung has also perfected the ambient sound mode, which now allows amplification of ambient noise by up to 20 decibels. Galaxy Buds Pro it can detect when you've started speaking and can automatically switch to ambient sound mode and lower the music volume when you speak.
Galaxy Buds Pro they also offer the best microphone performance ever from Samsung's line of headphones. They have three built-in microphones and a voice pickup unit that helps you make phone and video calls clearly. One of the external microphones also has a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), further eliminating background noise. Besides, it is Samsung incorporated its new Wind Shield technology into the Galaxy Buds Pro. While the less convex shape reduces the area of contact with the wind, a specially designed mesh chamber filters out wind disturbances. Buds Pro will also automatically switch between Samsung mobile devices.
Battery life is about the same as other high-end ANC earbuds: Samsung says you can expect up to five hours of continuous playback with the noise-canceling system enabled (eight when it's turned off). Galaxy Buds Pro they're IPX7 for water and sweat resistance, so they should be able to handle even your sweatiest workouts.
Galaxy Buds Pro will be available in black, silver and purple to match the new Galaxy S21 line. Pre-orders are now available.
