Sometimes it's only a disaster that brings people together, the worst of which is also witnessed in the upcoming disaster movie San Andreas, which is not a fictitious name for the city of Los Angeles and its surroundings, as it is in the computer game GTA, because if you haven't sat on your ears with geography, you know that it is a tectonic fault (Saint Andrew) that runs through California. The central theme is therefore an earthquake that leaves the city in ruins, but at the same time raises the estranged relationship between father and daughter from the ruins.
San Andreas is so much a story about a devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 9, which takes it to pieces Los Angeles and the West Coast, such as about putting together a loose relationship between a daughter (Alexandra Daddario) and fathers (Dwayne Johnson) with the epicenter in the divorce that left havoc on their relationship.
But as the aforementioned broken family, where Johnson plays a Los Angeles firefighter, helicopter pilot, who together with his ex-wife (Carla Gugino) sets off to save his daughter hundreds of kilometers away San Francisco, the earthquake moves closer. But before that, he has to deal with falling buildings, explosions, gaps in the road, a collapsed dam and raging water.
