In January 2016, a new, already third, concert cycle, Shanson at Ljubljana Castle, begins at Ljubljana Castle. It will take place until April, and four top performers will find themselves in the embrace of the castle, namely Nuška Drašček, Radojka Šverko, Boris Cavazza and Vita Mavrič.
Concert cycle Chanson at Ljubljana Castle 2016 will open on January 28, 2016 Nushka Drašček (she will be accompanied by pianist Blaž Jurjevčič and percussionist Vid Ušeničnik). She will dedicate her performance behind the castle walls to Edith Piaf, who would have recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
Until April, three more interpreters will then line up at the castle, Radojka Šverko (February 25, 2016), Boris Cavazza (March 24, 2016) and Vita Mavrič (April 21, 2016) who will each present their own version of the chanson, a genre that allows for many styles.

Croatian singing diva Accompanied by the piano, Radojka Šverko will take a walk from author's chansons to Italian canzones, actor Boris Cavazza will present himself with a singing author's evening accompanied by the Fake Orchestra, and the cycle will be rounded off by the "Walk" of our unique chansonniers Vita Mavrič in the Café teater band under the direction of Jake Pucihar.
