Looking at this beauty sailing on the Venetian lagoon, we will certainly remember the summer pleasures we experienced on the coast this year. The beauty was named "Lancia Powerboat", which seems a little strange at first glance, because the Italian brand Lancia is mainly associated with cars. However, the brand also has a tradition in nautical - last but not least, in the 20s of the last century, its founder Vincenzo Lancia was inspired to design a self-supporting body for the Lancia Lambda by studying ship hulls. In the 1960s, under the name Flaminia, a racing speedboat was produced in Lancia. The newcomer we are writing about was created in collaboration with four Italian companies: nautical Sacs, Fiat engine factory, Martini and Lancia. The result of the cooperation is a 13.1-meter-long, prestigious but minimalistic vessel, which has room for 11 people - otherwise only two can stay overnight in the cabin. The installed Fiat N67-560 diesel engines develop a maximum total power of 1120 'horses' (823 kW), which is sufficient for a maximum speed of 55 knots (cruising 15 to 45). Pampering is provided on the speedboat, from the sunbathing areas to the air-conditioned cabin. As an interesting point, let's note that the minimalist bathroom offers a romantic shower in the glow of colored LED lights.
