The Sennheiser HD 25 headphones have been considered the industry standard by DJs and audiophiles for decades, something that all other audio equipment manufacturers should emulate. And this iconic product got a new limited edition to mark the 75th anniversary of the German company.
Headphones Sennheiser HD 25, first introduced in 1988, celebrated their 25th anniversary with the release of the HD 25 Aluminum, and today we can witness another special edition of this cult model, namely the model Limited Edition.
The difference between the new and regular model are yellow earlobes, which are a tribute to the HD 414 model, Sennheseri's first "open-ear" headphones (that is, the ear canal is completely closed so that the user can hear what is happening around them).
Well, there is one trick hidden in all of this. The limited edition won't be available for purchase, at least not in the classic way. Sennheiser has launched its HD 25 line of headphones reduced by about 50 euros (now they cost around 100 euros), but everyone who orders their pair will compete to win limited edition headphones (only 25,000 pairs will be produced). Whether he got ordinary or special headphones will be clear to the user only when he opens the box. Quite the lottery, isn't it?
