Among the car brands, Bugatti is perhaps the most unique and prestigious, especially when we talk about its classics, whose prices at auctions reach the sky. But even modern Bugattis are cars that don't grow around every corner. Among the latest products of this brand - at the moment it is still on the list of concepts - is the C16 Galibier, whose name was borrowed from the famous pass in the French Alps, over which cyclists sweat every year in the Tour de France. Its exterior is designed in the style of old Bugattis – not least the Bugatti from the 1930s bore its name – and the materials used are similar to those in the Veyron. It is a Galibier at heart gran turismo, a four-door coupe in the home style, and its silhouette is momentarily reminiscent of the Porsche Panamera. Under the long hood hides the in-house 8-liter W16 engine, which, in the spirit of environmental friendliness, also allows the tank to be filled with ethanol. The brutal power of the engine is transmitted to all wheels and is sufficient for a top speed of 350 km/h. The interior is prestige in the truest sense of the word. A simple, leather-wrapped, one-piece dashboard with just two centrally placed analog gauges. To top it all off, there is a Parmigiani tourbillion that can be removed from the dashboard and worn as a wristwatch while walking around town.
