Mothers who had sex with their partner at least once that week, had significantly longer telomeres than women who had not had sex that week. What are telomeres? Over the years, telomeres shorten (aging, poor diet and alcohol), but there are many things we can do ourselves to slow down this shortening or even make the telomeres grow back a little, for example with regular sex and proper diet.
