At the Dutch company Soel Yachts, they are determined to change the image of maritime transport. The Soelcat 12 is a solar-powered electric catamaran that accommodates 16 people. Among other things, the catamaran reduces disturbing sounds and carbon dioxide emissions in ports, lagoons and oceans.
On board solar-powered electric catamaran Soelcat 12 are a navigation, alarm and control system so that all passengers can be informed of important system data. Because of this, it is also easier to understand the energy flows, with which people encourages to greater energy awareness. All you need to do is connect via your smart device with WiFi on the electric catamaran. While the captain controls the lights and the marine user password system, the guests are on board connect a smart device to the vessel's sound system and they play music. The marine user interface also enables also remote control.
