Not long ago, we were able to see Boston Heroes (Patriots Day, 2016), the first feature film about the Boston Marathon bombings from a few years ago. Already this year, we will be able to follow the tragedy from a different perspective, as one of the victims of the explosion will be in the foreground.
A case of Jeff Bauman, of the 27-year-old, who was among the spectators at the finish line at the marathon, where he was waiting for his ex-girlfriend, who was among the contestants. Because of the explosions, Jeff lost both legs and embarked on the difficult road to recovery. At the same time, he also recognized one of the attackers, which is why he was in Boston marked as a hero. But that still didn't help him accept the fact that he was left without both legs.
The star will play the lead role Jake Gyllenhaal, and he will be joined by Tatiana Maslany, Clancy Brown and Miranda Richardson. The film is an adaptation of Bauman's book, which he will direct David Gordon Green (Hits: Pineapple Express).
