A solar flower that serves as a USB power supply

The French designer Vivien Muller was inspired by the shape of the Japanese bonsai when she designed the 'electree mini' solar flower.

An imitation of a low potted plant is also all that the object has in common with actual plants. The "device" has flexible sheets, which are easily adjusted and turned towards the light source, made of photovoltaic panel, with which it absorbs light and turns it into power. This is stored on batteries and modules that are integrated into the device. This can also serve as a USB power supply, and due to its size, the device is easily mobile, and thus the efficiency can be maximized.
