"People say they're looking for meaning in life. I don't think that's what we're looking for. I think we're looking for a sense of being alive." -Joseph Campbell
You have to ignore the insecurity you have inside. Voices in your head that take you to hell instead of heaven. You have to ignore the ways they hurt you and the ways they make you believe you're not good enough. Ignore them when they attack you, but above all, you need to trust yourself more, even if you are not sure of yourself.
Ignore your insecurities and just keep going, just keep moving forward. Ignore other people's criticisms. Their opinions and advice, rules and restrictions, and hear their poisonous words to hurt you and feed their ego. You must ignore their experiences because they are not yours and their excuses because they justify their actions. You have to find your mission, your life.
Forget those who left you. To their promises, plans for the future, secrets you shared. You have to forget all the charming moments because they are not happening anymore. They are the past. Leave them behind, because there is no point in fighting for them, because everything can be in vain, your effort, your time, your love, because they probably won't come back, and even if they did, they will leave again. You have to forget those who didn't appreciate you and the feelings you had about yourself.
Ignore some questions. Especially the ones you used to ask yourself before going to bed:"Why me? When will I be happy? What do I want? Why is this happening to me?” Sometimes you have to listen to the questions in yourself and trust that you will find the answers in time. And you have to accept the fact that the answers won't always be the way you wanted them to be.
It's hard to ignore the things that bother you, but it's even harder to live with all the issues, mostly because you're giving them too much attention.
You always have two options; will you carry these burdens, pain, questions with you, or ignore them so that you can come alive and live again.
