Robotic home assistants are becoming more popular every day. Maybe in our country we don't feel it yet, but in other parts of the world, especially in the West, families regularly grow by one (robot) member. Now they have brought their pot to Sony. Let's take a look at this pot or the Sony Experia Hello home assistant, which otherwise won't visit our homes yet.
Sony Xperia Hello will first visit Japanese homes. Similar to the Amazon Echo, the Xperia Hello will respond to your voice commands, gestures and facial expressions.
Perhaps the experience will feel a little more personal, as the device has been equipped with with an animation 'eye', which moves and can also express certain feelings, such as sadness, joy, etc. On the front is 4.6-inch LCD screenfrom which you will be able to read information.
Xperia Hello could be yours personal photographer, with it you will be able to made video calls, checked the condition of the home and in the yard when you're away from home, listened to the latest news and monitored the weather forecast. The robot will move through space spontaneously and autonomously, without any human assistance. Sony says it can even dance if you want it to.
As mentioned, for now, it will only be available in Japan starting next month. For the price of 1,100 euros.
