Sony Xperia Z5 Premium - 4K for the first time on a smartphone screen

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium

At Berlin's IFA, the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliance trade fair, Sony has unveiled three new premium smartphones under the Xperia Z5 label. The flagship of the family is the Xperia Z5 Premium, the world's first 4K smartphone, which boasts four times the resolution of full HD (most high-end phones have either a Full HD or Quad HD screen) and a two-day battery life.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium it is the world's first 4K smartphone and at the same time it is the flagship of Sony's new family of premium Sony smartphones Xperia Z5. Ultra high resolution display it brings an image that we were not used to in smartphones until now. Of course, such an outstanding screen (IPS, 5.5-inch with a pixel density of 806 ppi) requires hardware support. And it's Premium from head to toe supercar.

You give it super power with a 63-bit processor Snapdragon 810 on which the operating system is loaded Android 5.1 Lollipop (with UI Xperia UI) and 3 GB of working memory, 48 hours of autonomy but it should be provided by a battery with capacity 3430 mAh (quick charging option). The internal memory is 32 GB, but the power is free for storing data with the help of a memory card microSD power to extend right to 200 GB! The fear that the space for videos and movies would run out too quickly is therefore unnecessary.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a built-in the "memory on the screen" function ("memory on display"), with which the phone remembers pictures and videos that you have already viewed, thereby saving battery life. With the Z5, Sony uses the philosophy of "sound and picture as good as it gets", because it is its own LDAC codec when listening to wireless music, it transmits data three times more efficiently than the classic codec via Bluetooth, adding its own to the "integrity" of the sound DSSE HX digital sound enhancement technology, which can enhance MP3, AAC or Spotify recordings. At the back, it is adorned with a camera with a newly baked 1/2.3 Exmor RS sensor with 23 million pixels, lens G f/2.0 and an extremely fast autofocus system, while the camera s awaits you in front 5MP.

The 180-gram Xperia Z5 Premium will be available November 2015 (but you don't want it for Christmas if you love your loved ones, because the price for the entry-level model only will be around 900 euros), but it should not be forgotten that both the Premium and the two cheaper versions will have built-in fingerprint sensor, which will be located on the power button. In addition to this type of personal protection and unlocking by touch, the phone will also enable authentication via fingerprint for online payment (FIDO standard). It will be available in a version with one or two SIM card slots.
