COS, the fashion brand that lives under the same roof as H&M (except in a penthouse), joined forces with Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto to present a new collection at the Milan fashion show. COS x Sou Fujimoto is a combination that did not disappoint.
Sou Fujimoto is in the former Milan cinema Arti, a building from the 1930s, erected a colossal light installation. The architect used light, shadow, artificial fog and mirrors to create an illusion in which models appeared and disappeared.

Installation mimics a forest at dusk, where the interaction between mannequins, collection, lights, fog and shadow came to the fore. Due to time pressure, Fujimoto completely avoided using any physical objects. With his installation, the Japanese embraced the concept of COS and transferred it to architecture – simplicity, clarity, sharpness.
