But Dali is not the main star either. The chosen trio of this artistic hotel is namely: Monet, Rodin and Picasso. It was the latter who was supposed to host the wedding reception with ballet dancer Olga Khokhlova in the Pompadour Room. With a very special gesture, they also paid tribute to the father of modern sculpture, Auguste Rodin. From the hotel, walk across the river to the Rodin Museum along the "Rodin - Love and Torment" route and see his statue in the Tuileries Garden. But if you prefer the impressionism of Claude Monet, then check out these "Monet - Revolutionary Brushstrokes".

Le Meurice started writing his hotel history in Calais, but in 1815 the hotel moved to Paris. Some time ago it became part of the Dorchester Collection chain, and for many years it has been popular especially among British tourists. The rooms are furnished in a luxurious historical style, with huge beds and in some cases a view of the magnificent gardens.
