Speed and style underwater? Meet the SeaNXT Elite – an underwater scooter that almost sinks for the price!

An interesting but expensive water toy!

This underwater toy - the SeaNXT Elite, which can travel up to 21 km/h, is a true supercar among underwater scooters. But beware - the price is also similarly "sporty".

If you thought underwater scooters were boring, slow, and – let’s be honest – similar in design to electric lawnmowers, think again. French manufacturer SeaNXT has decided that enough is enough and with its latest creation, called the SeaNXT Elite, it’s bringing underwater adventurers something truly extraordinary.

Where can we place SeaNXT Elite?

SeaNXT Elite, which won't win over your wallet with its price (but hey, when was the last time you skimped on an underwater toy?), is almost a supercar among watercraft in terms of its characteristics. It is aimed at those who are not enthusiastic about mainstream choices, such as the popular Seabob - "Seabob? So last year!" would say true underwater connoisseurs.

The Elite stands out from the competition at first glance with its sleek design that not only turns heads under the sea, but also enables superior aerodynamics or – more correctly – “hydrodynamics”. Of course, as befits a modern prestige model, the frame is exposed carbon fiber, and it is available in five vibrant colors (black, blue, green, red and yellow). If you happen to decide to ride at night, the Elite will also ensure visibility underwater, as it has a built-in LED strip – ideal for looking like a floating Christmas tree under the sea.

What about the dimensions of this underwater toy?

It is also worth mentioning the dimensions of this magnificent water monster: the Elite measures almost a meter in length (98 cm to be exact), just under half a meter in width (50 cm) and a respectable 28 cm in height. It may not be the size of a personal water scooter, but compared to other underwater scooters it acts like a whale among sardines. Its weight should not be underestimated, as the scales show poor 23 kilograms, but don't worry – if it accidentally slips out of your hands (or you decide the purchase was just a little too impulsive), it will automatically float to the surface.

And why would you leave the underwater world? The Elite is powered by two powerful electric motors, each with a power of 2 kW, which together create a whopping 213 Nm of thrust. As a result, you will speed underwater at an enviable 21 km/h (13 mph), which is even faster than Seabob’s fastest model, the F9. The built-in 48-volt lithium-ion battery gives you between 40 and 80 minutes of exploration, depending on how “heavy your foot” is – or in this case, how heavy your hand. As an added convenience, the Elite also offers an integrated GPS system and allows you to dive to a depth of 40 meters.

Are you excited yet? While this price may make your credit card shed a tear, it is starting price 10,825 euros ($12,653) is definitely a guarantee of exclusivity. SeaNXT does, however, kindly offer you a consolation prize in the form of a nice aluminum transport case – so you can at least take your luxury to the beach in style.

Because if you're going to get in the water, get there in style.
