Contrary to our belief that alcohol is more difficult to tolerate as we get older, studies have shown the opposite.
Research has shown, that the frequency and strength of an alcoholic hangover is also affected by age. The key factor here is the amount of alcohol consumed. In younger years alcoholic cat is common, as young people are not exposed to alcohol on a daily basis. They indulge in it casually, but that's why then they drink more and very irresponsible. Often then they drink bigger and different ones quantities drinks. This naturally leads to severe dehydration and intoxication, resulting in morning sickness and headache.
As evidenced by the study, the rate and frequency should increase with age the cat reduced. The first reason is that it is repetitive and multiple exposure to alcohol lead to greater tolerance. Another reason is that the elderly drink a small amount of alcohol (a glass of wine, beer) that does not expose the body to intoxication. The third reason is work and family obligations, which do not allow for drank too much alcohol. Older drinkers should know its borders and they know when to stop drinking. The research also found that there is a large elderly population less sensitive to pain and weakness in the body.
If you don't want to have a cat, just don't drink. This way you will successfully avoid the cat for the rest of your life. If you drink a drop, be responsible.
How to avoid a cat:
- Eat a solid, fatty meal before drinking alcohol. A stomach lined like this will prevent the body from absorbing alcohol too quickly
- Drink water. Take a break and drink a glass of water while drinking alcohol.
- Do not mix different drinks, stick to one type of alcoholic drink.
- Do not drink sugary drinks, as they do not contain alcohol, so you can drink more than you would like.
