SuperPausée, created by the French Collectif Vous, is a macro tent consisting of two Canadian tents, where the wooden structure has been replaced by steel tubes. It is an unusual ode to camping that plays with its codes through geometry, apparent lightness, minimal carbon footprint and textiles.
Despite its size, it can SuperPausée macro tent put together with your hands. It is first assembled on the ground to create a structure, which is then raised by pushing the tent legs together, as you would, for example, fold a camping chair.
On their own 50 square meters surface can accommodate up to five people who can have fun below living room with covered terrace, where removable textiles allow it to develop into a conservatory (depending on the season). They are also below bathroom and toilet. Up there, four meters above the ground, it is bedroom, which offers a wonderful view of the luxurious treetops, and pa a large trampoline, allowing people to enjoy nights under the stars. It connects the lower and upper floors hanging staircase.
The entire project is made in a "floating" state, so the natural terrain remains virtually untouched. The SuperPausée is waterproof, and the double textile wrap also provides good insulation.
