This type of camp will be held for the second year under the auspices of the mobile operator Mobitel and the retailer of sports and leisure equipment Intersport. Rip Curl Girls Camps are three-day surfing camps for girls aged 14 and up. They are intended for beginners as well as girls who are already used to snow parks and driving on full snow and want to progress. This year, three events will be organized, namely the first from February 16 to 18, the second from February 23 to 25, and the third from February 27 to March 1. At the camp, we will be able to improve our snowboarding skills, gain new self-confidence, learn the basics of freestyle and snowboarding on full snow, and perform our first trick. We will learn how to sharpen and lubricate a snowboard ourselves; Apo test boards will also be available. The best thing is that the girls will be able to hang out in the snow and thus make new friends. The camps will be held in small groups led by experienced teachers. We will be divided into groups based on previous knowledge. After the day on the snow, they have prepared many interesting activities for us, including night sledding, sauna and swimming in the pool. We will liven up the evenings with surfing movies, magazines and other board games. Rip Curl Girls Camps will take place at the Soriška planina ski resort above the mountain village of Sorica. Soriška planina is not a large ski area, but it is ideal for holding this type of camp. The ski area offers enough groomed slopes and a new snow park, which also includes elements for beginners. At the end, a gift awaits all participants.
