Meet Surf Lakes, a paradise for all surfers, which is also the largest wave pool in the world!
Surf Lakes it's in Australia the biggest wave pool in the world! It is equipped with technology 5 wave modes, and can produce more than 2,000 waves per hour, which are suitable for all types of surfing skills. This technology mimics the undulations of the ocean, with waves coming in sets of two to six, breaking over specially designed ridges.
The 5 wave mode technology works by creating concentric waves, emanating from the central wave device. The waves then break over the various submerged reefs and onto the shore. Each reef is designed in a different way, allowing the energy of the water to dissipate, creating waves of different speeds, shapes and sizes. Up to ten different waves can be generated from each pulse of the central device, and the largest of all waves is given in height by more than 2 meters!
The pool has waves for all types of surfers. So they can go on them beginners (just learning to stand on the surfboard and catch waves) those with an intermediate level of knowledge (gentle waves that are easy to catch, ride and make turns), advanced surfers (larger and steeper waves, more critical sections for turns and aerial maneuvers) and so on experts and professionals (very advanced turns and aerial maneuvers, suitable for bodyboarders - floating).
