From the land where snails, frogs and noble raw mold are offered on a platter, comes a no less exotic and unusual pioneer of experimental house Guillaume Berroyer, better known to the clubbing underground as ARK!
An insight into Ark's musical path describes the character of an innovative and independent musician who drew attention to himself as early as 1992 as a bass guitarist and composer in fusion funk gang Tranquillo. This was followed by independent development on record labels Brief, Carat, PIAS, Circus Company and the legendary temple of evergreen avant-gardes Perlon. That his influence on the development of the avant-garde club sound is unmistakable is also proven by his collaboration with the giants of the golden era of clickhouse eclecticism, such as Matthew Herbert, Pepe Braddock, Losoul and Mr. Oizo. As an established DJ, he regularly performs in clubs such as Panorama Bar, Batofar, Watergate, Fuses and Robert Johnson. ARK until today perfects his rich sound repertoire, which jolts the elements of micro/deep house, obscure funk, jazz and mash up sampling onto the listener's palette, and unashamedly mixes it with screaming Dadaist shades. The resulting images depict scenes of the unheard of dance debauchery and radiate vulgar groove, which is held at the reins by a real French charmer. ARK will present itself to the basement audience, eager for cabaret fun, with an intense and interactive live performance where even "stage diving" is not excluded!
