EOFT – European Outdoor Film Tour 2016

The most popular film festival about outdoor sports is coming to Ljubljana again: European Outdoor Film Tour 2016. The festival, which is already 16 years old, follows the principles that a good film does not necessarily need professional actors, but rather the authenticity of 'everyday' people and their unique, real adventures. Cinema in autumn 2016 - which films should not be missed in November?

November will be marked by films that we have been eagerly waiting for. If we can no longer follow Tina Maze on the small screen, we will be able to admire her on the big screen. Open-air cinema: Kino Park 2016 in Tabor Park

Kino Park 2016 is approaching, an open-air cinema in Ljubljana's Tabor Park, which has transformed from an accompanying program into an independent event and is slightly bigger every year. Park Tabor, or more precisely, the ŠD Tabor sports field will turn into an annual cinema this year between August 29 and September 4, 2016, when 15 projections will be shown on the screen. Admission is free, the number of seats is limited, and your own chairs are more than welcome.

Movies that you absolutely must see in cinemas in June 2016

In June and early July 2016, you will be able to admire as many as three famous film adaptations on the movie screens: The Legend of Tarzan, The Great Kindred Giant and With You. We also have the three sequels we've been waiting for so impatiently: Masters of Illusion 2, Independence Day: The New Threat and Finding Dory. The fabulous June week is rounded off by the action comedy Obveščevlana.

12. Kino Otok 2016 (Isola Cinema): with movements on and under the screen

Films, filmmakers, screenings in the open air and in the mysterious darkness of the cinema, creative workshops for the youngest, in-depth conversations and evening socializing with relaxing music - all this will find a place on the most cinematic island in Slovenia, on Kino Otok. New to the island this year will be the TorinoFilmLab and FrameWork workshops, both of which will be joined by the professional ReAct workshop. Thus, the island will host 60 new film experts from all over the world and Izola will be the world center of film. At the 12th International Film Festival Kino Otok - Isola Cinema, we will look into stories whose movement itself moved.
