The Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA is a digital transformer as slippery as soap, as it has a record low drag coefficient. The Germans presented the intelligent aerodynamic car at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the four-seater coupe, as expected, garnered tremendous interest. It went from idea to concept in a mere 11 months, which is a reflection of the advancement of technology, which practically cut this process in half. Now a large part is done by advanced computer simulations and "filigree" digital plans. Mercedes is therefore betting on smart factories, but still "human-centric", and cooperation with robots will be closer. And the first child of this vision is the Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA study.
