On Saturday, May 30, there will be a free concert by the rock band Tabu, which has been on the Slovenian music scene for more than 20 years, in the Vič Center parking lot.
Kino Šiška, together with ten organizers of musical events, announces a series of fourteen interactive webcasts of concerts from the stage of the big hall of Kino Šiška. Between May 5 and June 16, the concert broadcasts will be broadcast every Tuesday and Friday at 9:00 p.m. (with the exception of the semi-final evenings of the Špil League), and it will be possible to follow and co-create them via Zoom, the YouTube channel and the Facebook page of Kina Šiška.
At the free online concert Slovenia, stay HOME!#2, which you will be able to watch this Friday, April 3, 2020 at 8:00 p.m., in addition to great company and top-notch music, we will be collecting funds for the purchase of a ventilator, artificial lungs, for UKC Ljubljana.
Due to the coronavirus and the urgent ban on mass gatherings in public areas, many music festivals, concerts and performances had to be cancelled. In May 2021, Ljubljana will host Metronomy, electro pop heroes who are considered one of the most respected contemporary British bands. During their visit to Kino Šiško, they will present their latest critically acclaimed album Metronomy Forever!
In May 2021, blues star Adelmo Fornaciari, who we all know better under the name Zucchero, is returning to Slovenia after more than five years.
The top-quality Tinderstick, which will soon tick off three decades of operation, are returning to Slovenia. They have already confirmed their reputation as an exceptional concert band on our soil four times, most recently in 2016 with the presentation of the album The Waiting Room. In May 2020, they are coming out with a new, already eleventh album, the release of which is announced for November this year.
The famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform again in front of the Slovenian audience after four years, and will be hosted by Ljubljana (March 2020).
