The Ski Jumping World Cup (FIS) is one of the most massive and recognizable sports events in Slovenia. However, the increased traffic it generates each year puts a strain on the environment that is often overlooked. In cooperation with Planica, Mastercard has designed the SharePlanica.si car-sharing platform in the framework of the SharePlanica.si project in order to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions in personal transport. In addition, Mastercard will restore forests with the Priceless Planet Coalition project to further reduce the CO2 emissions of participants' personal transportation.

Start the new year actively, boldly, a little differently. Literally jump into the new year! In Portorož, you can jump into the sea on New Year's Day. The 2018 New Year's jump into the sea will be the fourteenth in a row.
The largest trampoline park in Slovenia, built by the famous acrobats Dunking Devils, opens its doors in Ljubljana on December 1. Under the energetic name WOOP! and dressed in bright colors, the park will offer more than 100 trampolines and other sports attractions that offer a new way of entertainment, adrenaline and physical activity.
Ljubno 2017 is approaching, a new jumping holiday in Ljubno ob Savinja, where last year as many as 20 thousand people gathered under Rajhovka, which is located in a wonderful corner of the Upper Savinja valley, in two days! On February 11 and 12, 2017, Ljubno will host the Women's Ski Jumping World Cup for the seventh time. The best invitation is certainly the excellent success of our eagles this season as well. Last year, Slovenian ski jumpers won first, second and third place at their home venue. Maja Vtič and Špela Rogelj took care of them.
Planica 2017 will take place from March 24 to 26, 2017. Last year, an extraordinary 111 thousand spectators gathered in Planica. For the third time, we were able to celebrate the overall victory of Slovenian jumpers in the World Cup. In 1997 and 1998, Primož Peterka finished under Ponci with a big crystal in his hands, and last year the incomparable Peter Prevc repeated this success with a dream season. In 2016, the Slovenians took all the victories from the valley under Poncami, and this year our ski jumpers will be among the favorites in both individual competitions, and we can also hope for a fight for the top in the team competition. Tickets are already on sale.
Slovenia is shaking with jumping fever. On Friday, the first race in ski jumping in the new season (2016/17) is on the schedule, where Peter Prevc, who wrote a golden chapter in the history of ski jumping last season, is starting his title defense. In the dreamy past season, he not only jumped onto the jumping Olympus, he also conquered everything there was to conquer, and at the same time broke many records and raised the appetites of the already demanding Slovenian public, who ate out of the hands of the Slovenian eagles last season. The jumpers are ready for the new season, which starts with Friday's match in Kuusamo (November 25, 2016), followed by a new one on Saturday.
This is one of the most adrenaline-pumping shots you've seen in months. When we think of the Swiss Alps and the Alps in general, most of us think of skiing, hiking and mountaineering first, but not Jamie Lee. For him, the Alps are a natural adrenaline park. Watch his heart-pounding high-speed parachute descent past glaciers, canyons and cliffs.
Some people are really bored in life. Why else would you defy fate and risk your life with daring feats that don't really make sense. One of them is an unknown young man who goes by the nickname 8Booth and posts daring deep dives on YouTube and Instagram. His jump into the pool from the top of the building will make your blood run cold. Hero or fool?
Visibility was nil, but a BASE jumper from Dubai made an uncompromising leap from the top of a 200-metre-tall Dubai skyscraper despite not being able to see the ground. Watching this clip will definitely give you sweaty hands!
We've all landed in the shower after accidentally jumping into the water. Unintentional of course, the burning sensation upon landing is not the most pleasant. But that obviously didn't stop the brave people in Norway, who competed in a diving competition (ti dødsing) from a great height! Check out the incredible jumps that will make you burn at least a little!
This is courage! For 19-year-old Fabian Bösch, the current world champion in freestyle skiing in the snow park, this adrenaline sports discipline is clearly not getting the heart rate up enough, so he set himself an even bolder challenge. And if his heart didn't beat wildly this time when he went backwards down the ski jump, turned around in the air, landed on the back of the jump and then jumped again and did a forward roll before landing, then he's not human! Watch his incredible jump that will take your breath away.
Cars are not airplanes, with remarkably few concepts. They generally feel and perform best when all four wheels are in contact with the ground and are firmly on the ground. But many cars still think they can fly. These are often vehicles competing in the World Rally Championship (WRC), which often confuse their identity with aircraft. Check out the most spectacular car jumps that will take your breath away!
