After the highly acclaimed premiere performance at last year's festival, the Cellofest ensemble will open this year's festival as well. The renowned Slovenian soprano Sabina Cvilak and cellists Maruša Bogataj, Karmen Pečar, Igor Mitrović and Miloš Mlejnik, who is celebrating his 70th birthday this year, will perform with him as soloists.
The urban culture center Kino Šiška celebrates its 8th birthday on September 22. This year's celebration will take place under the direction of the current biggest domestic musical phenomenon, the controversial collective Matter, which with the premiere presentation of its eagerly awaited second album, Mrk, is returning to where it all began - in Šiško, where it performed live for the first time as part of the Tresk festival.
British psychedelics The Horrors will perform in Slovenia for the first time this year. On December 1st, they will present their fifth studio album V, their first new material in three years, at Kino Šiška.
