We all know that Photoshop works wonders - you'll be convinced once again that beauty is in the eye of the beholder when you see photos that show what the ideal is in 25 ways and in 25 countries.
Esther Honig, a journalist from Kansas City, sent her photo on the 25th Photoshop to enthusiasts all over the world. "Beautify me" she wrote in an email - and the purpose of her project was to highlight the visible differences in the perception of beauty in different cultures around the world.
An idea for a project she named "Before & After" (Before and After), she got while browsing the Internet after coming across the website Fiverr, which brings together freelancers from all over the world. Among them were also experts who master Photoshop manipulation – this inspired her to start up of the project, with which you could search aesthetic preferences of individual cultures.
She selected 25 artists, and you can see their surprising results in the picture gallery.
