On December 4, 2016, TEDxLjubljana 2016 will be held again in the Gallus hall of Cankarjev dom. The team of organizers, together with the speakers who will present their ideas, research, reflections, experiences and a wide variety of stories to a wider audience this year, have already been steadily enjoying the event. Tickets will be available from Sunday 30 October 2016 onwards.
The world's most famous speaking event TED, has its own version in our country as well. TEDxLjubljana 2016: Let's spin the wheels will be held December 4, 2016 in the Gallus hall of Cankarjev dom. On the largest Slovenian stage, speakers will introduce themselves to the audience, and they will be in approx 15-minute speeches awarded theirs discoveries, stories, research, thoughts and experience.
It's TED non-profit organization, whose beginnings date back to the year 1984. It is intended spread of ideas, which the speakers condense into 3- to 18-minute performances. The original TED was devoted to three different topics: technology, entertainment and design (= Technology, Entertainment, Design) – hence the name. But over the years, as the organization has grown, the world's thinkers also touch each other at the annual TED conference many other controversies. TEDx is an independent, local event, which is organized according to TED guidelines.

Tickets for TEDxLjubljana 2016 will be available from Sunday, October 30, 2016 onwards. Following the example of other countries that organize TEDx, tickets for this year's event are paid, as this is the only way the organizers can took care of the quality of the program and its future.
